Installation Guidelines

CRITICAL WARNING: Hazardous voltages are present. Installation must be performed by qualified personnel only. Ensure all power sources are de-energized and locked out/tagged out (LOTO) before beginning any work. Failure to comply can result in severe injury or death.
  1. 1 Verify Panel Cutout: Before mounting, confirm that the enclosure or panel cutout dimensions match the PC670's required installation dimensions. Ensure the mounting surface is clean, flat, and rigid.
  2. 2 Mount the Unit: Insert the Panel PC into the cutout from the front. Secure it from the rear using the provided mounting clamps. Tighten the clamp screws evenly in a diagonal pattern to ensure a uniform seal against the panel gasket. Do not overtighten.
  3. 3 Establish Protective Earth (PE) Connection: Connect a low-impedance protective earth conductor to the designated PE terminal on the Panel PC chassis. This is a critical safety connection and must be established before connecting any other cables.
  4. 4 Connect Power and Peripherals: Connect the AC mains power cable to the unit's power input. Connect any required communication cables (e.g., Ethernet, serial) and peripherals (e.g., keyboard, mouse). Ensure proper cable strain relief.
  5. 5 Power-On and System Check: After verifying all connections are secure and the work area is clear, remove the LOTO device and energize the circuit. Power on the Panel PC and verify that the operating system boots correctly.
