Installation Guidelines

CRITICAL WARNING: Hazardous voltages are present. Installation must be performed by qualified personnel only. Failure to adhere to safety procedures can result in severe injury or death.
  1. 1 De-energize Equipment: Before installation, completely de-energize the control cabinet and follow all Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures. Verify the absence of voltage with a properly rated meter.
  2. 2 Panel Cutout and Mounting: Prepare the enclosure cutout according to the device's mechanical drawings. Ensure the mounting surface is clean, flat, and rigid. Install the Panel PC and secure it evenly with all provided mounting clamps to maintain the specified IP rating.
  3. 3 Protective Earth (PE) Connection: Connect the chassis ground terminal to the enclosure's protective earth bus bar using a low-impedance conductor. This is a critical safety connection and must be established first.
  4. 4 Power and I/O Wiring: Connect the mains power cable to a suitably protected circuit. Route all communication and I/O cables away from high-voltage lines to minimize electromagnetic interference. Ensure all connectors are fully seated and secured.
  5. 5 System Power-Up: After verifying all connections, remove LOTO devices and re-energize the cabinet. Observe the Panel PC during its boot sequence to ensure proper startup and that the operating system loads without errors.
