Installation Guidelines
CRITICAL WARNING: Hazardous voltages are present. Installation must only be performed by qualified personnel with the main power to the cabinet completely de-energized and locked out (LOTO). Failure to comply can result in severe injury or death.
-
Ensure the control cabinet or panel is fully de-energized and verified to be at a zero-volt state before beginning work.
-
Verify the panel cutout dimensions are correct for the PC 670 chassis. Clean the mounting surface to ensure a proper seal.
-
Insert the Panel PC into the cutout from the front. Secure it from the rear using the provided mounting clamps, tightening them evenly to the manufacturer's specified torque to avoid deforming the bezel.
-
Connect the protective earth (ground) conductor to the designated terminal on the PC chassis. This is a critical safety connection.
-
Connect the provided mains power cable to the unit and to the appropriate power source. Connect any required communication or I/O cables.
-
After all connections are secure and the panel door is closed, follow proper procedures to re-energize the cabinet and power on the device.
