Installation Guidelines

CRITICAL WARNING: Hazardous voltages are present. Installation must be performed by qualified personnel only. Failure to de-energize equipment and follow Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures before installation can result in severe injury or death.
  1. 1 De-energize System: Before beginning installation, completely disconnect all power sources from the control cabinet. Verify the absence of voltage using a calibrated multimeter. Apply appropriate LOTO devices.
  2. 2 Panel Cutout and Mounting: Prepare the enclosure panel cutout according to the device's mechanical drawings. Ensure the mounting surface is clean, flat, and free of debris. Install the Panel PC into the cutout and secure it evenly using all provided mounting clamps to ensure a proper seal.
  3. 3 Protective Earth (PE) Connection: Connect the chassis ground terminal of the Panel PC to the enclosure's main protective earth bus bar using a low-impedance conductor. This is a critical safety connection.
  4. 4 Power and I/O Wiring: Connect the AC power supply cable to the designated terminals. Route all communication and I/O cables away from high-voltage lines to minimize electromagnetic interference. Ensure all cable connectors are fully seated and secured.
  5. 5 System Power-Up: After verifying all connections are correct and secure, remove LOTO devices and re-energize the cabinet. The Panel PC should power on. Proceed with operating system and application software installation.
