Installation Guidelines

CRITICAL WARNING: Disconnect all power sources and follow Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures before installation or maintenance. This device contains components sensitive to electrostatic discharge (ESD). Use appropriate ESD protection, such as a wrist strap and mat, when handling.
  1. 1 Ensure the control cabinet or mounting panel is fully de-energized and verified to be at zero potential.
  2. 2 Verify the panel cutout dimensions match the requirements for the IPC277E chassis. Ensure the mounting surface is clean, flat, and free of debris.
  3. 3 Carefully insert the Panel PC into the cutout from the front of the panel. Ensure the gasket provides a proper seal against the panel surface.
  4. 4 From the rear, install and tighten the mounting clamps in a staggered sequence to apply even pressure and secure the unit firmly in place. Do not overtighten.
  5. 5 Connect a stable, correctly rated 24 V DC power source to the power supply terminal. Verify correct polarity (+/-) before connecting.
  6. 6 Connect the protective earth (PE) terminal to the cabinet's main grounding point using a low-impedance conductor.
  7. 7 Connect Ethernet, USB, DisplayPort, and any other required peripheral cables. Ensure all connectors are fully seated.
  8. 8 Once all connections are secure, re-energize the cabinet and power on the Panel PC to verify correct startup and operation.
