Installation Guidelines
CRITICAL WARNING: Hazardous voltages may be present. Installation must be performed by qualified personnel only. Failure to de-energize equipment and follow Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures before installation can result in severe injury or death.
-
1
Ensure the control cabinet or panel is completely de-energized and locked out before beginning work. Verify the absence of voltage.
-
2
Prepare the panel cutout according to the manufacturer's dimensional drawings. Ensure the mounting surface is clean, flat, and free of debris.
-
3
Insert the Panel PC into the cutout from the front. Secure it from the rear using all provided mounting clamps, tightening them evenly to the specified torque to ensure a proper seal.
-
4
Connect a low-impedance protective earth (PE) conductor to the designated grounding terminal on the IPC chassis. This is critical for safety and noise immunity.
-
5
Connect the 24 V DC power supply wiring to the IPC's power input connector, ensuring correct polarity. Use appropriately sized conductors from a regulated industrial power source.
-
6
Connect all required network, USB, and serial cables. Ensure proper cable strain relief and routing to prevent interference and physical damage.
