The ACT20-FEED-IN-PRO-S is fully compatible with all Weidmuller ACT20 series signal converters and isolators that utilize the CH20M DIN-rail bus. It can replace standard passive feed-in terminals when active collective error monitoring and diagnostic feedback are required for the control system.
Ensure that the total current drawn by all modules connected to the CH20M bus does not exceed the maximum bus current rating (typically 4 A). If your module configuration exceeds this limit, you must install an additional feed-in module to segment the power distribution groups.
When wiring the collective error relay, integrate the contact into your PLC's safety loop or alarm input. This ensures that any power loss or module fault on the CH20M bus is instantly flagged in the control room, reducing troubleshooting downtime.
De-energize all primary and auxiliary power sources before mounting, removing, or wiring the module. Ensure the DIN-rail bus contacts are completely clean and properly aligned before snapping the unit onto the rail to prevent physical damage to the contact pins.
Mount the CH20M DIN-rail bus elements onto the TS 35 DIN rail if they are not already installed.
Align the ACT20-FEED-IN-PRO-S with the rail and snap it firmly into place, ensuring the bus connector pins seat correctly.
Connect the 24 V DC input supply lines to the designated screw terminals using the correct wire gauge and torque specifications.
