  • Pressure Port Sealing: When installing the G 1/2 male/female connection (EN 228-1), use a flat copper or metal-plastic sealing washer. Avoid using PTFE tape on the threads if possible, as fragments can migrate into the pressure port and block the internal diaphragm, leading to slow response times or inaccurate readings.

  • Thermal Isolation: Although the transmitter is compensated up to 70 deg C, if the medium temperature exceeds 70 deg C, use a pigtail siphon or a cooling leg to isolate the sensor from the heat. This ensures the electronics remain within the specified compensated temperature range (0 to 70 deg C) to maintain the 0.5 percent typical accuracy.
