Designed to deliver robust and deterministic control for medium-sized automation systems, the CX5020-0125 Embedded PC is a compact, DIN rail-mountable controller featuring a 1.6 GHz Intel Atom® Z530 processor. This hardware unit functions as a high-density PLC and motion controller, executing complex control tasks through integrated software runtimes. It is engineered with automatic bus recognition, allowing direct physical connection and communication with both Beckhoff K-bus terminals and high-speed EtherCAT E-bus systems.

The unit incorporates comprehensive connectivity interfaces directly on its compact housing, minimizing the footprint within industrial control enclosures. It includes dual independent Gigabit Ethernet ports, multiple USB 2.0 interfaces, and a dedicated DVI-D output for direct human-machine interface (HMI) connection. To ensure high data integrity during unplanned power losses, the CX5020-0125 is equipped with an integrated 1-second UPS that writes persistent variables to an exchangeable Compact Flash card.

  • Insert or remove the Compact Flash card only when the power supply to the controller is fully switched off to prevent data corruption.
