Description

Option 00 (0 mm unthreaded length) and Option 12 (coaxial ClickLoc connector, FluidLoc cable) specify this 3300 XL 11 mm proximity probe configuration — 330709-00-05-10-12-05, an eddy-current 3300 XL 11 mm Proximity Probe. This variant provides non-contact displacement measurements within a 3300 XL 11 mm monitoring chain, operating with an M16 x 1.5 metric thread and without stainless steel armor. The FluidLoc cable configuration prevents oil and fluid leakage from the machine housing through the cable interior, making it suitable for applications where containment of lubricants or process fluids is required.

Installation Guidelines

  • Always maintain the minimum bend radius of 25.4 mm (1.0 in) for the FluidLoc coaxial probe cable.
  • The recommended mounting torque for M16 x 1.5 probe cases is 21.1 N-m (187 in-lb), with a maximum rated limit of 63.3 N-m (560 in-lb).
  • Check the probe gap setting using a digital voltmeter connected to the Proximitor Sensor's output terminals. A nominal gap of 2.5 mm (100 mils) corresponds to approximately -9 Vdc output under standard conditions.
  • Do not install standard connectors inside machine casings where exposure to oil or harsh fluids is expected; use FluidLoc cabling and appropriate sealing.
