Engineered for medium-complexity automation and control tasks, the Beckhoff CX5130-0130 is an industrial-grade controller belonging to the CX5100 series of embedded PCs. Powered by an Intel Atom E3827 dual-core processor operating at 1.75 GHz, this device delivers high-efficiency computing performance with low power dissipation. Designed to bridge local process execution with upstream IT systems, it serves as a highly reliable central processor in modern control cabinets.
The CX5130-0130 comes equipped with 4 GB of non-expandable DDR3 RAM and features separate slots for both CFast and microSD storage media, allowing flexible operating system and application configurations. For robust operations, the controller integrates a hardware-based 1-second UPS to back up up to 1 MB of persistent data on the CFast card during power failure. Its communication architecture includes dual Gigabit Ethernet ports, multiple USB 2.0 interfaces, a DVI-I display connector, and an option slot for additional network interfaces. It also provides automatic sensing for either EtherCAT Terminals (E-bus) or standard Bus Terminals (K-bus) on the I/O interface level.
