Description

Decentralized signal processing in demanding industrial environments is efficiently handled by the IP2302-B520 Fieldbus Box. This compact digital input/output module interfaces directly with a DeviceNet network, allowing binary control signals to be acquired and generated on-site without the necessity of a protective control cabinet. By locating the I/O points closer to the physical sensors and actuators, field wiring complexity and installation costs are significantly reduced.

The unit features a balanced distribution of four digital inputs and four digital outputs. Designed to operate under harsh conditions, the rugged housing ensures high operational reliability. Installation Guidelines

Mount the module directly onto flat machine frames using appropriate M4 or M5 mounting screws.
Tighten all M12 connectors to the recommended torque specifications to maintain the IP67 sealing rating. Unused ports must be fitted with protective caps.
Ensure fieldbus cabling (DeviceNet) and auxiliary power cabling are routed separately from high-voltage motor lines to prevent electrostatic and electromagnetic interference.
