Installation Guidelines

To establish proper measurement calibration, adjust the probe gap until the Proximitor sensor output reads approximately -10 Vdc (the nominal midpoint of the linear range) when targeted against AISI 4140 steel. Ensure the target surface area is at least 15.2 mm (0.6 in) in diameter to prevent side-viewing errors or signal degradation. Hand-tighten the ClickLoc coaxial connector until it audibly clicks to ensure a low-resistance RF path.
