Designed to streamline field diagnostics and loop verification, the Bently Nevada 148722-01 provides direct connection access to 3300 XL series Proximitor sensors. This diagnostic accessory features three self-contained test pins terminated through three color-coded wires measuring exactly 1 meter in length. Each lead is finished with a standard banana plug to interface with multi-meters, oscilloscopes, or system calibrators. By plugging the three-pin adapter directly into the dedicated test pin holes on the Proximitor terminal strip, instrument technicians can perform calibration verification, sensor performance checks, and system troubleshooting in real time without disrupting or disconnecting any active field wiring.

To ensure highly accurate diagnostic readings, always verify that the test pins are fully seated and bottomed out inside the Proximitor test holes. Intermittent contact can result in false voltage drops or fluctuating dynamic signal readings. Additionally, ensure the banana plug leads are routed away from nearby high-voltage AC cables or switching components during active test sweeps to prevent external electromagnetic noise injection into the high-impedance measurement loop.
CRITICAL WARNING:
Ensure that the external test equipment (oscilloscopes, meters) is properly grounded and configured to the correct input impedance before inserting the test pins. Failing to establish proper grounding paths can introduce stray currents into the active machinery protection loop, potentially triggering false alarms or system trips.
Visually inspect the test pin holes on the 3300 XL Proximitor sensor for dirt, debris, or oxidation.
Connect the three color-coded banana plugs of the 148722-01 to your calibrated diagnostic instrumentation.
Align the test plug pins with the corresponding Proximitor test ports and push firmly until the adapter seats securely.
Carry out diagnostic verification or voltage sweeps, then remove the pins carefully to avoid bending the contact interfaces.
