For effective heat management, passive cooling requires a minimum clearance of 20 cm (7.9 inches) of free space for air circulation around the enclosure. Operating close to the 45 degC limit without this volume restriction can trigger CPU thermal throttling, potentially degrading PLC cycle performance. Ensure the internal circulation fan is clean and unobstructed to avoid localized hot spots inside the aluminum structure.
The wiring compartment supports up to six IP65-sealed industrial connectors.
