Description

This variable speed drive is engineered for complex machines requiring reliable motor control and specialized safety features. Operating within a rated supply voltage range of 380...500 V alternating current (AC) across 3 phases, it delivers a nominal output current of 14.3 A and supporting a motor power of 5.5 kW designated for heavy duty operations.

The unit incorporates extensive input and output options, featuring 7 discrete inputs, 3 discrete outputs, 3 analogue inputs, and 1 analogue output. It integrates a Class C2 EMC filter and offers embedded communication over Modbus serial and CANopen. Installation Guidelines

  • Orientation: Mount the drive vertically. Deflections must remain within +/- 10 degrees from the true vertical position.
  • Ventilation and Cooling: Ensure unimpeded airflow around the chassis. The internal cooling fan requires a minimum air volume flow of 60 m3/h.
  • Thermal Derating: For operational environments between -10 degC and 50 degC, no derating is necessary. If the ambient operating temperature rises between 50 degC and 60 degC, an appropriate technical derating factor must be applied.
  • Environmental Enclosure: The unit carries an IP20 rating and must be mounted inside an industrial enclosure providing protection against airborne contaminants, conforming to pollution degree 2 limits.
