Description

The EL3061 is a 1-channel analog input terminal designed for the processing of standard 0…10 V signals within an EtherCAT automation network. This terminal features 12-bit resolution and utilizes single-ended technology to interface with various industrial sensors. It is highly configurable, offering activatable FIR and IIR filters as well as integrated limit value monitoring to ensure precise signal processing. The module is engineered for robustness, with 500 V electrical isolation between the E-bus and signal voltage, and is housed in a compact 12 mm terminal block. • Wiring: The terminal supports solid, stranded, and ferrule-terminated wires (0.08…2.5 mm²). Use a screwdriver for spring actuation; ensure an 8…9 mm stripping length for optimal contact.
• Signal Integrity: Given the single-ended nature of the input, ensure all signal grounds are referenced correctly to avoid ground loops and common-mode noise.
• Configuration: Utilize the EtherCAT master configuration tools (e.g., TwinCAT System Manager) to adjust the conversion time and activate the FIR/IIR filters as required for your specific signal noise profile.
