Description

Engineered for complex control tasks requiring high processing capacity, the Beckhoff CX1030-0000 serves as a high-performance industrial CPU module within the modular CX series. This controller is equipped with an Intel Pentium M processor operating at 1.8 GHz, delivering deterministic execution times for PLC, NC PTP, and NC I control software. The unit integrates two RJ45 Ethernet ports connected via an internal switch, allowing cost-effective line topologies to be constructed without additional network switches.

Installation Guidelines

• Mount the unit on standard 35 mm DIN rails (EN 60715) in a horizontal position.
• Ensure appropriate clearance above and below the device to allow unrestricted airflow through the cooling module and fan cartridge.
• Power the CPU module exclusively through a compatible Beckhoff CX1100 power supply (such as CX1100-0012, CX1100-0013, or CX1100-0014).
• Do not insert or remove the Compact Flash card while the system is powered on.
• Verify that the functional ground is connected securely to ensure EMC immunity compliant with EN 61000-6-2.
