Description

Designed for direct connection to SSI encoders in rugged field environments, the EP5001-0002 EtherCAT Box serves as a high-performance, single-channel sensor interface module. This IP67-rated module enables real-time transmission of absolute position values from an SSI transmitter directly to the controller over high-speed EtherCAT networks. By mounting directly on the machinery, it eliminates the need for protective control cabinets and extensive terminal wiring.

Built to withstand demanding industrial settings, the unit features M12 connector interfaces for encoder hookups and M8 interfaces for fieldbus communication.
