The BECKHOFF C9900-E841 is a dedicated push-button extension module designed for direct mechanical and electrical integration with BECKHOFF CP7702-00xx Panel PCs featuring a 15-inch display without an integrated keyboard. Mounted on the right-hand side of the operator unit, it expands standard panel capabilities with tactile, industrial-grade control hardware, allowing machine operators to execute rapid manual commands without relying solely on the touchscreen interface.
Equipped with 16 square Siemens Signum illuminated push-buttons (30 x 30 mm) and one dedicated Siemens Signum emergency stop button, the C9900-E841 provides versatile signal integration. Each push-button transmits its primary normally-open (NO) contact digitally via USB or CP-Link to the host PC system, while all integrated indicator lamps are driven over the same digital bus interface. To accommodate critical interlocks and hardwired safety circuits, each push-button also provides an independent second normally-open contact accessible via an internal terminal strip, and the emergency stop button is directly wireable to external safety relays or TwinSAFE input terminals.
The C9900-E841 variant is engineered without a mounting arm connection and without an integrated cable bushing, making it suitable for panel assemblies where independent arm mounting is not required. External signal cabling can be routed using an optional screwed cable gland accessory (C9900-M931). The unit is classified in the BECKHOFF service phase for legacy maintenance, expansion, and direct system replacement.
