Installation Guidelines

Install the outer sleeve into the machine case before inserting the probe sleeve to adjust the probe gap. The housing fits over the outer sleeve; slide the retainer under the retaining nut and tighten securely. When using cable glands or hole plugs, ensure they are tightened to 0.5 N-m (5 in-lbs) to maintain environmental integrity. Ensure the machine casing is properly affixed to the bearing when measuring radial vibration to maintain signal accuracy.
