Installation Guidelines

• Verify that the total combined length of the probe and extension cable matches the calibrated length of the Proximitor sensor (typically 5 or 9 meters total).
• Ensure correct probe gap during installation (typically gapped at 1.27 mm or 50 mils for mid-range operation).
• Tighten the M10 x 1 threads to the proper installation torque; do not exceed 15 Nm (11 ft-lb) to avoid case damage.
• Ensure the miniature coaxial ClickLoc connectors are connected finger-tight. Avoid using heavy pliers which can damage the gold plating.
• Route the armored cable away from sharp edges, high-temperature conduits, and high-voltage power sources to minimize electrical noise interference.
