Tutto sui PLC: la CPU
A practical engineering guide to PLC CPU operation, from deterministic scan cycles and I/O image tables to memory, communications, diagnostics, redundancy, processor sizing, and reliable system...
To bridge the critical connection between proximity sensors and monitoring systems, the Bently Nevada 330730-080-10-00 provides high-integrity signal transmission within the 3300 XL 11 mm Proximity Transducer System. This premium extension cable is engineered to deliver low-attenuation performance, maintaining high calibration stability under harsh operating environments. Featuring the FluidLoc cable configuration, it is constructed to prevent the migration of oils, moisture, and other process fluids through the cable interior, ensuring long-term isolation in demanding machinery environments.

| Shipping Weight (Calculated) | 1.50 kg (3.30 lbs) |
| Country of Origin | United States of America (USA) |
| Connector Location | Connector Type | Termination & Matching |
|---|---|---|
| Sensor End | Miniature Coaxial Male | Mates directly to 3300 XL 11 mm Proximity Probe |
| Proximitor End | Miniature Coaxial Female | Mates directly to 3300 XL Proximitor Sensor input |
The 330730-080-10-00 extension cable is designed exclusively for the 3300 XL 11 mm series. It is not interchangeable with standard 3300 XL 5 mm or 8 mm systems, as the different probe geometries alter the system's characteristic impedance and calibration settings. Mixing cables across series will result in severe measurement inaccuracies or calibration faults at the Proximitor.
When routing the 330730-080-10-00, observe the minimum bend radius requirements to prevent internal degradation of the coaxial core and shield layers. Although the FluidLoc jacket restricts longitudinal fluid penetration inside the cable, do not allow the coaxial connectors to remain submerged in stagnant fluids without proper physical sealing (such as heat-shrink tubing or connector protector kits).
Before mating the miniature coaxial connectors, ensure they are free of dirt, grease, and moisture. Clean only with electronics-grade isopropyl alcohol if contaminated. Hand-tighten the connectors until they click or bottom out firmly; do not use pliers or standard hand tools which can strip the internal threads or crush the delicate gold-plated center pins.
Ensure the plant monitoring system or turbine safety interlocking controls are completely bypassed or de-energized before disconnecting or replacing any TSI (Turbine Supervisory Instrumentation) component. Disconnecting active extension cables may trigger false machine trips or alarm indicators.
Route the extension cable from the sensor location to the Proximitor junction box, avoiding sharp metal edges or high-vibration structural members.
Thread the sensor connector and extension cable connector together securely. Apply silicone tape or an approved connector protector sleeve over the interface if oil exposure is expected.
Secure the cable along its path with clean, insulated cable ties or conduit clips to prevent mechanical wear due to machinery movements.
