Installation Guidelines

• Ensure the probe-to-extension cable and cable-to-Proximitor connections are kept clean and dry.
• Use recommended connector protectors or silicone self-fusing tape to prevent liquid ingress, especially in oil-exposed environments.
• Maintain a minimum bend radius of 25.4 mm (1.0 in) for all cables to prevent signal degradation.
• Installation must comply with Bently Nevada drawings 141092 (Intrinsic Safety) and 140979 (Non-Incendive) for hazardous area compliance.
• Do not exceed torque limits during installation; use finger-tight for initial probe positioning before locking.
