Product Description

Description

The Emerson A6110 is a shaft relative vibration monitor designed for monitoring rotating machinery critical assets within the AMS 6500 Machinery Health Monitor architecture. The A6110 standard 1-slot hot-swappable module accepts input signals from non-contact displacement sensors via two independent or combined monitoring channels. Built to API 670 machinery protection standards, the module interfaces with the system backplane and Modbus TCP/IP communication networks to deliver dynamic signal processing, including Smax, 1x, 2x, 1/2x, and phase angle tracking. The card integrates directly into PlantWeb and DeltaV network platforms to deliver real-time machine malfunction detection and protection for industrial turbo machinery.

Features

  • API 670 compliant 1-slot hot-swappable protection module architecture
  • Independent dual-channel or combined monitoring modes (Smax, True S peak-to-peak)
  • Front and rear raw buffered outputs with 0.1-16 kHz frequency range
  • Dedicated 0-10 VDC shaft position (gap) voltage outputs per channel
  • Integrated Mini DIN front panel connector supporting RS-232 configuration interfaces
  • Self-checking diagnostics monitoring hardware integrity, sensor connections, cable conditions, and internal temperature
  • Remote-selectable limit multiply and trip bypass capabilities
  • Proportional 0/4-20 mA and 0-10 VDC output options per channel

Applications

  • Steam turbines
  • Gas turbines
  • Hydro turbo machinery
  • Industrial turbo compressors
