Description

The Emerson A6312/06 is a Dual Channel Speed/ Key Monitor designed for measuring and conditioning shaft speeds, rotation direction, speed difference, and rotational reference marks (key-pulses) in rotating machinery. Constructed around a high-performance microprocessor, the module processes signals received from two eddy current measuring chains or hall-effect sensors (such as PR 9376). It interfaces via a 48-pin DIN 41612 (design F 48 M) backplane connector and includes front-panel SMB signal taps alongside a mini-DIN (TM 0508A/6) connector for RS 232 configuration, plus a rear-bus RS 485 interface for system integration.
