Tutto sui PLC: la CPU
A practical engineering guide to PLC CPU operation, from deterministic scan cycles and I/O image tables to memory, communications, diagnostics, redundancy, processor sizing, and reliable system...
Heavy industrial gas turbine installations require high-reliability optical monitoring to ensure safe and continuous combustion. Designed specifically for critical power generation environments, the Honeywell LG1093AA45 is an ultraviolet optical flame sensor engineered for extreme durability. This LG1093 Series sensor serves as a qualified, field-proven component on General Electric (GE) industrial gas turbines, enabling continuous flame verification under intense temperature and pressure conditions. By transmitting light signals across extended distances to compatible amplifiers, it ensures rapid and accurate flameout detection for protective SIS/ESD actions.

Ensure the turbine is completely shut down and depressurized before installing or replacing the flame sensor. Thread the 3/4-inch internal NPT connection securely onto the viewing port, using appropriate thread sealant for high-temperature and high-pressure turbine applications. Route the integrated Teflon-shielded cable through an approved 1-inch conduit system to protect against physical wear and thermal radiation. To minimize electromagnetic interference, terminate the cable shielding strictly in accordance with Honeywell and OEM grounding diagrams. Periodically inspect the viewing window to confirm it remains free of soot or combustion deposits.
