When installing the module, ensure the PLC rack power is completely shut off before mounting the module onto the MELSEC iQ-R base unit. Carefully align the lower module fixing projection with the base unit guide hole, secure it into place, and tighten the module fixing screw to the recommended torque.
Maintain the minimum specified bending radius for the optical fiber cables to prevent signal attenuation or physical fiber damage. Always keep unused optical ports protected with the included dust caps to prevent contamination of the internal optical transceivers.
