For versatile process monitoring and multi-signal data acquisition, the Omron CJ1W-AD04U provides direct connection of multiple sensor types to Omron CJ-series programmable logic controller (PLC) systems. Designed with four high-precision input channels, this unit delivers individual channel-to-channel isolation, effectively mitigating electrical noise, ground loops, and signal degradation in harsh industrial environments.

The CJ1W-AD04U universal input module accommodates a broad range of signal types, including thermocouples, resistance temperature detectors (RTDs), DC voltage, and DC current. Installation Guidelines

• Mounting: Ensure the PLC rack power is completely switched off before mounting or removing the module from the CJ-series backplane.
• Wiring: Route analog input signal cables separately from high-voltage AC power lines and motor drive cables to prevent electromagnetic interference.
• Shielding: Use shielded twisted-pair cabling for all analog inputs, grounding the shield at the PLC end only.
