Installation Guidelines

• Mounting: Lock the module securely to the bus connector of the CJ/NJ backplane using the top and bottom interlocking sliders. Do not hot-swap the module while the system power is active.
• Wiring: Keep DeviceNet communication lines separate from high-voltage AC power lines to avoid electromagnetic interference. Securely ground the drain wire at a single point.
• Power Sequencing: Apply power to the external DeviceNet communication supply before or simultaneously with the PLC system power supply to prevent initialization faults.
