Installation Guidelines

1. 1 De-energize Equipment: Before installation, ensure all power to the control cabinet or panel is disconnected and locked out/tagged out (LOTO). Verify the absence of voltage with a calibrated meter.
2. 2 Panel Cutout: Prepare the mounting cutout in the enclosure door or panel according to the manufacturer's specified dimensions for the PC 670 series. Ensure the mounting surface is clean, flat, and free of debris.
3. 3 Mounting: Insert the Panel PC into the cutout from the front. Secure it from the rear using the provided mounting clamps. Tighten the clamps evenly and sequentially to ensure a uniform seal against the panel gasket. Do not overtighten.
4. 4 Grounding: Connect the functional earth (FE) terminal on the rear of the PC chassis to the main protective earth bus bar of the control cabinet using a low-impedance conductor. A secure ground connection is critical for noise immunity and safety.
5. 5 Power Connection: Connect a stable, filtered 24V DC power source to the designated power input terminals. Ensure correct polarity. Use appropriately sized wiring for the current draw and route power cables separately from high-voltage or noisy signal cables.
