Installation Guidelines

1. 1 Verify that all power to the S7-300 rack is de-energized and locked out according to safety procedures.
2. 2 Mount the module onto the SIMATIC S7-300 mounting rail, typically on the far left side of the rack assembly. Ensure it is securely seated.
3. 3 Connect the 120/230V AC line, neutral, and protective earth (PE) conductors to the corresponding input terminals on the front of the module. Verify correct polarity and secure connections.
4. 4 Slide the module to the right to engage its backplane connector with the adjacent CPU or interface module, establishing the 24V DC power link to the system bus.
