For optimal installation of the 330850 DIN-mount Proximitor sensor, ensure it is secure on a standard 35 mm DIN rail. Secure the field wiring terminals (0.2 to 1.5 mm2 or 16 to 24 AWG) using a shielded triad cable with a maximum length of 305 metres (1000 feet) to the monitoring system. Keep the coaxial connectors between the extension cable and the probe finger-tight, or torque to a maximum of 0.565 N-m (5 in-lb). The Proximitor must be housed in a clean, dry enclosure providing at least IP54 protection to prevent exposure to moisture and contamination.
