Description

The 1756-OA8E is a ControlLogix digital AC output module featuring 8 electronic fused outputs arranged in groups of 4. Designed for high-density control applications, it operates across a broad voltage range of 74 to 265V AC at 47 to 63 Hz. The module delivers up to 2.0A per output point (up to 4.0A max per group) and includes integrated electronic fusing to protect individual output points and connected field loads against overcurrent conditions. It provides 125V continuous basic isolation between output groups and utilizes a removable terminal block (RTB) interface for field wiring.

Features

  • 8 AC output channels organized into 2 isolated groups of 4 points.
  • Electronic fusing protection per point to prevent excessive current flow.
  • Broad AC operating voltage range from 74V to 265V AC (47...63 Hz).
  • Provides high current capability with 2.0A maximum output current per point at 60 degC.
  • Continuous basic isolation of 125V AC between output groups and backplane.
  • Electronic software-configurable module keying for reliable system maintenance.

Applications

  • High-power AC load switching in industrial control applications.
  • Solenoid valve, motor starter, and contactor actuation.
  • Control of heavy-duty industrial AC indicator lights and alarms.
  • Automated process execution within ControlLogix PLC systems.
