The Allen Bradley 1756-IV16 is a ControlLogix digital DC sourcing input module. Designed for compatibility with the ControlLogix 1756 chassis system, this module receives discrete signal inputs from field devices and transfers input status to the system backplane. It requires a removable terminal block housing (RTB)—either the 1756-TBNH or 1756-TBSH—prior to mounting into the chassis. The 1756-IV16 provides 16 sourcing input channels configured in 2 groups of 8 points each, operating across a nominal supply voltage of 12/24V DC.

Installation Guidelines

  • Ensure system power and backplane power are removed before installing or removing the module.
  • Securely wire field devices to the compatible 1756-TBNH or 1756-TBSH Removable Terminal Block (RTB) according to standard industrial wiring practices.
