Description

The Bently Nevada 149992-01 is a 16-channel relay output module designed for machinery protection and alarm expansion within the 3500 Series machinery monitoring system. Installed in a full-height rear slot of the 3500 rack, the module provides 16 independent relay outputs driven by Alarm Drive Logic to execute voting schemes based on alarming inputs, Not-OK conditions, or individual measured variables from monitoring channels across the system. It features epoxy-sealed single-pole double-throw (SPDT) relays equipped with built-in 250 Vrms arc suppressors and physical switch selection for Normally Energized (NE) or Normally De-energized (NDE) operation across four distinct channel groups.

Features

  • Provides 16 independently programmable single-pole double-throw (SPDT) relay output channels
  • Features physical relay mode selection switches on the module for setting Normally Energized (NE) or Normally De-energized (NDE) operation in groups of four channels
  • Built-in 250 Vrms relay arc suppressors installed as standard on contact outputs
  • Onboard epoxy-sealed relay units designed for 10,000 cycles of contact life
  • Supports independently programmed Alarm Drive Logic utilizing AND and OR voting logic configurations

Applications

  • Turbine machinery trip and emergency shutdown systems
  • Machinery protection alarm expansion in oil and gas production
  • Power generation plant rotating equipment monitoring
  • Industrial process alarm signaling and interlocking
