Description

The Bently Nevada 149992-02 is a Spare 16-Channel Failsafe Relay Output Module designed for emergency shutdown logic and machinery protection within the Bently Nevada 3500 Machinery Protection System. Operating as the dedicated rear I/O component paired with the 3500/33 16-Channel Relay Control Module, the 149992-02 provides 16 single-pole double-throw (SPDT) relay output channels equipped with standard epoxy-sealed electromechanical contacts and 250 Vrms relay arc suppressors. The module receives programmed voting logic commands from the front main module via the 3500 rack backplane, supporting complex AND/OR Alarm Drive Logic based on alert/danger statuses, Not-OK conditions, and individual measured variables from monitoring channels.

Features

  • Provides 16 independent single-pole double-throw (SPDT) relay channels for machinery alarm and shutdown drive outputs.
  • Configured with standard silver relay contacts suitable for standard switching applications.
  • Integrated with standard 250 Vrms relay arc suppressors on each output contact.
  • Features DIP switch selectable operation for four groups of four channels to set Normally De-energized (ND) or Normally Energized (NE) modes.
  • Accepts direct field wiring via a 16-position green internal termination connector header.

Applications

  • Emergency machinery shutdown and protective tripping systems.
  • External alarm drive and annunciation signal routing.
  • Machinery protection interfacing within Bently Nevada 3500 system racks.
