Installation Guidelines

• Install the outer sleeve securely into the machine case before fitting the housing assembly.
• Adjust the probe gap according to the transducer technical specifications prior to final housing closure.
• Ensure the probe sleeve is properly seated; for sleeve lengths exceeding 305 mm (12 in), use the probe support / oil seal (37948-01) to prevent resonance.
• Tighten conduit fittings and cable glands to maintain the environmental seal rating.
• If hole plugs are utilized for unused ports, tighten the hole plug nuts to 0.5 N-m (5 in-lbs).
