Installation Guidelines

• Mount the probe with the appropriate probe gap (nominally -9 Vdc or approximately 1.27 mm / 50 mils) corresponding to system calibration over the linear range.
• Ensure that external cables are routed with proper shielding and grounding practices to eliminate electromagnetic interference (EMI) in proximity probe vibration installations.
• Observe a maximum thread engagement limit of 0.563 inches for the 3/8-24 UNF mounting thread to avoid binding or mechanical strain during installation.
• Tighten the ClickLoc coaxial connectors finger-tight. Avoid using heavy tools or pliers unless mating with older non-XL stainless steel connectors.
• Prevent exposing the probe sealing mechanism to temperatures below -34 degC (-30 degF) to preserve the integrity of the internal Viton O-ring.
