This eddy-current proximity probe features integral FEP-coated stainless steel armor protecting its coaxial cable from mechanical abrasion and severe physical wear in industrial plants. Unlike unarmored sibling variants such as the 330101, this armored configuration provides enhanced structural shielding for the cable run without introducing signal interference.

The probe operates within a 3300 XL 8mm transducer system, pairing with a 3300 XL extension cable and a matched Proximitor sensor. It provides non-contact displacement measurements to track shaft vibration, axial position, and rotating speed. This specific model is configured with a 1.0-meter total cable length (Option 10) terminated in a miniature coaxial ClickLoc connector shielded by an integrated fluorosilicone connector protector (Option 01). Installation Guidelines

• Maintain standard mounting thread engagement limits to prevent binding during installation (maximum 0.563 inches for 3/8-24 UNF threads).
• Establish the correct probe gap using a static calibrator or digital voltmeter linked to the Proximitor sensor output prior to final tightening.
• Connect the miniature coaxial ClickLoc connector finger-tight to the extension cable coaxial connector.
• Slide the fluorosilicone connector protector over the connection to insulate and seal the coaxial junction from moisture, oil, and external contaminants.
• Avoid twisting the armored casing during installation to prevent damage to the internal coaxial core.
