Installation Guidelines

• Maintain minimum clearances to surrounding metal to prevent unintended eddy-current path interference. For an 8 mm probe, a minimum of 40 mm (1.6 in) diameter flat clearance area is recommended.
• Avoid over-tightening the probe during installation. The maximum torque limit for 3/8-24 UNF threads is 11.2 N-m (100 in-lb).
• Protect the ClickLoc miniature connector from moisture and debris. Use self-fusing silicone tape or connector protector boots if exposed to liquids.
• Ensure the bend radius of the armored cable does not fall below 25.4 mm (1.0 in) to prevent damage to the inner coaxial core.
