Installation Guidelines

• Maintain a minimum bend radius of 25.4 mm (1.0 inch) on the armored cable during installation to avoid damaging internal triaxial layers.
• Ensure the probe tip is spaced away from any adjacent structural metal other than the target area to prevent calibration offset.
• Apply a recommended torque of 11.2 N-m (100 in-lb) when mounting the M10 x 1 threaded probe body. Do not exceed the maximum rated limit of 33.9 N-m (300 in-lb).
• This 5.0-meter probe configuration must be paired directly with a matching 5-meter Proximitor sensor; do not install an intermediate extension cable.
• Ground the coaxial shield terminal only at the Proximitor sensor housing to avoid ground loop interference.
