Description

Fully threaded M10 x 1 metric probe body (Option 00) with 60 mm case (Option 06) and 1.0 m lead (Option 10) with standard flexible armor — 330104-00-06-10-02-00. This configuration is equipped with a standard cable and a miniature coaxial ClickLoc connector (Option 02) without a connector protector. It is configured for applications where hazardous area agency approvals are not required (Option 00).

This specific configuration differs from the standard unarmored sibling model (330103) by incorporating a protective flexible AISI 302/304 stainless steel armor sleeve with an FEP outer jacket, which shields the coaxial cable from physical abrasion and mechanical damage. The M10 x 1 metric threaded case provides direct compatibility with metric bracket mountings. The 1.0-meter total system length is calibrated for use with standard extension cables and 3300 XL Proximitor sensors in non-contact eddy-current measurement loops.

Features

  • M10 x 1 metric thread type with fully threaded case (0 mm unthreaded length) for flexible mounting depth.
  • 60 mm overall case length designed for standard metric machine casings and bracket installations.
  • 1.0 meter (3.3 feet) total cable length matching standard 5-meter or 9-meter transducer system loops.
  • Protective stainless steel armor sleeve with FEP outer jacket to protect against harsh industrial environments and physical wear.
  • Miniature coaxial ClickLoc connector (Option 02) without connector protector.

Applications

Typically used for non-contact machinery protection and condition monitoring. Specific industrial applications include:

  • Radial shaft vibration measurement on rotating machinery.
  • Axial thrust position and thermal expansion tracking on steam turbines, gas turbines, and compressors.
  • Shaft eccentricity and speed measurements.
  • Industrial installations requiring mechanical armor protection against hot oils, metal chips, and physical debris.

Installation Guidelines

Proper installation is required. Observe the following mechanical and environmental limits:

  • Maximum Case Torque: Do not exceed 22.6 N-m (200 in-lbf) when tightening the probe case. Recommended torque is 7.5 N-m (66 in-lbf).
  • Minimum Cable Bend Radius: Maintain a minimum bend radius of 25.4 mm (1.0 inch) for the armored probe cable.
  • Thread Engagement: The maximum rated length of thread engagement for M10 x 1 threads is 15 mm. Exceeding this limit can cause binding during installation.
  • Grounding: The probe cable shield must be grounded through the Proximitor sensor terminal block to prevent electrical interference.
