Installation Guidelines

Proper installation ensures reliable operation within the monitoring system:

• Avoid exceeding the maximum thread engagement length of 15 mm for M10 x 1 threads to prevent binding.
• Maintain a minimum side clearance of 3 probe diameters from adjacent metal objects to prevent cross-talk or target distortion.
• Ensure the cable connector is torqued to finger-tight to maintain stable electrical contact.
• Avoid exposing the probe tip to materials with highly acidic or alkaline pH values that could erode the encapsulation.
• Ground the shield of the extension cable at the Proximitor sensor housing, and ensure the probe is electrically isolated from other ground paths.
