Installation Guidelines

Ensure standard machinery protection practices are observed when installing the reverse mount probe:

• Rear Insertion: Thread the probe case into the M10 x 1 mounting bracket or housing sleeve from the rear of the mounting face.
• Thread Engagement: The maximum thread engagement length for M10 x 1 threads is 15 mm. Do not exceed this limit to avoid binding or cross-threading during installation.
• Target Clearance: Position the probe tip such that it has at least 8.0 mm of clear space from any surrounding metal to avoid side-view interference.
• Connector Tightening: Connect standard 3300 XL coaxial connectors finger-tight. Do not use pliers, as this can damage the gold ClickLoc contact surfaces.
• Environment and Sealing: Ensure the operating temperature does not drop below -34 degC to protect the Viton O-ring seal from hardening and failing.
