Installation Guidelines

The following engineering practices are recommended during installation:

• Maintain adequate clearance from surrounding metal to ensure accurate sensor readings and avoid calibration drift or cross-talk.
• Hand-tighten the coaxial connectors, applying a maximum torque of 0.565 N-m (5 in-lb) to prevent damage.
• Apply silicone self-fusing tape or a connector protector around the mated connection to protect from oil, moisture, and debris.
• Avoid sharp bends in the armored cable; do not exceed the minimum bend radius of 25.4 mm (1.0 in).
