This configuration is supplied with one 3/4-14 NPT fitting, one 3/4-14 NPT to 1 1/2-14 NPT stainless steel reducer, and two conduit plugs (Option 06) and utilizes a 3/4-14 NPT mounting thread (Option 02).
The integrated design combines both the 3300 XL 8 mm probe and its matching Proximitor sensor into a single, self-contained polyphenylene sulfide (PPS) housing. This approach eliminates the separate extension cable and external Proximitor enclosure, allowing field wiring to connect directly from the monitoring system to the terminal block inside the transducer cover. The glass- and conductive-fiber-reinforced PPS housing delivers IP66 and Type 4X environmental protection, securing the internal electronics against severe industrial conditions, moisture ingress, and electrostatic buildup.

Mount the housing securely using the 3/4-14 NPT thread. Ensure the standoff adapter is aligned correctly with the machinery sleeve port. Tighten the probe sleeve locknut to a torque of 39.3 N-m (350 in-lb) and the retaining nut to 29.5 N-m (260 in-lb) to maintain a secure physical seal. Field cables must be routed through the conduit fittings provided by Option 06; tighten all compression fittings and plugs to maintain the IP66 and Type 4X rating of the PPS enclosure. Ensure local grounding guidelines are followed using the integrated internal ground liner assembly.
