This standard mount, non-armored probe features a 1/4-28 UNF thread and is used in machinery with tight physical clearance and reduced target area constraints, such as small centrifugal air compressors, refrigeration compressors, and process gas compressors. With a short 0.9-inch fully threaded case and a 0.5-meter (20-inch) total probe length, this configuration allows for non-contact displacement measurement in highly restricted internal enclosures where standard-sized probes cannot be installed.

This variant uses a standard 75-ohm coaxial cable with a miniature ClickLoc coaxial connector (Option 02) without an integrated connector protector, facilitating compact cable routing. Because it is optioned with no agency approvals (Option E = 00), this probe is used for general-purpose, non-hazardous industrial installations. Installation Guidelines

• Gap Setting: Set the probe gap to the nominal target of 1.0 mm (40 mils) or approximately -9.0 Vdc to -10.0 Vdc output at the Proximitor Sensor for axial or radial measurements.
• Thread Engagement: Do not exceed 0.375 inches of thread engagement on 1/4-28 UNF probe cases to avoid potential binding.
• Case Torque: Torque the probe case to 5.1 N m (45 in lb) nominal during installation. Do not exceed the maximum limit of 7.3 N m (65 in lb).
• Cable Bend Radius: Maintain a minimum bend radius of 25.4 mm (1.0 inch) for the probe cable to prevent attenuation or damage to the internal FEP insulation.
• Connector Tightening: ClickLoc connectors should be joined finger-tight; do not exceed 0.56 Nm (5 in lb) of torque.
• Moisture Protection: In environments with high humidity or exposure to liquids, protect the ClickLoc connections using silicone tape or connector protectors.
