Description

The 330905-00-13-05-02-05 is a 3300 XL NSv proximity probe configuration featuring an M10x1 thread, 0.0 mm unthreaded length (Option 00), 1.3 in case length (Option 13), and 0.5 m total probe length (Option 05). This unit is equipped with a standard miniature coaxial ClickLoc connector without a connector protector (Option 02) and is certified with multiple hazardous area approvals (Option 05).

Designed for use within the 3300 XL NSv Proximity Transducer System, this probe is engineered for non-contact displacement measurement in tight clearance applications, such as small-bore machinery or aeroderivative turbines where standard-sized probes may not fit. The NSv (Near-surface) design maintains linear performance in reduced target geometries. It must be paired with a compatible 3300 XL NSv Proximitor Sensor (330980) and extension cable (330930) to form a complete monitoring loop for shaft vibration and axial position.

Features

  • M10x1 probe thread (330905 base model)
  • Option 00: 0.0 mm unthreaded length configuration
  • Option 13: 1.3 in case length
  • Option 05: 0.5 m total probe length
  • Option 02: Miniature coaxial ClickLoc connector, standard cable (no connector protector)
  • Option 05: Multiple hazardous area approvals (CSA, ATEX, IECEx)
  • Polyphenylene sulfide (PPS) probe tip with AISI 304 stainless steel case
  • Compatible with 3300 XL NSv Proximitor Sensor and extension cable

Applications

  • Small-bore machinery monitoring
  • Aeroderivative turbines
  • High-speed rotating equipment with limited target area
  • Shaft vibration and axial position measurement
  • Critical machinery protection in hazardous environments

FAQ

What is the primary difference between the 330905 probe and other 3300 NSv probes?

The 330905 model is specifically the M10x1 threaded probe without armor. Other models in the series differ by thread size (1/4-28 UNF, 3/8-24 UNF, M8x1) or the presence of integral stainless steel armor.

What does the Option 05 for Agency Approval signify on this SKU?

Option 05 indicates that the probe is certified for multiple hazardous area environments, including CSA, ATEX, and IECEx approvals, when installed according to the appropriate Bently Nevada drawings.

Does this probe require a connector protector?

This specific configuration (Option 02) includes a standard miniature coaxial ClickLoc connector without a connector protector. If you require protection, you can order the 3300 NSv Connector Kit as an accessory.

Is this probe compatible with standard 3300 XL Proximitor sensors?

No, this probe is part of the 3300 XL NSv system and must be used with the 330980 NSv Proximitor Sensor and compatible NSv extension cables to ensure correct system performance and scale factor.
