To ensure precise displacement measurements, maintain a minimum probe gap of 1.0 mm (40 mils) representing the center of the 1.5 mm linear range. Secure the probe using appropriate mounting brackets or threaded ports with a torque not exceeding 11.3 N-m (100 in-lb) for 3/8-24 threaded cases. Do not exceed the maximum allowable thread engagement length of 0.563 inches to prevent case binding during assembly. Avoid bending the 75 ohm coaxial probe cable beyond its minimum bend radius of 25.4 mm (1.0 in). Standard ClickLoc connectors must be hand-tightened; do not exceed a maximum connector torque of 0.56 N-m (5 in-lb) to prevent damage to the gold-plated miniature fittings.
